21.3. Troubleshooting in the TOPS Prod Environment#

21.3.1. Merchant KYC stuck in account validation#

Checklist:

  • Does the exchange know about the KYC auth transfer?

    • Check via libeufin-nexus tooling on exchange

  • Did the merchant use the same bank account as they configured in the merchant backend?

    • Only IBAN matters, receiver name can be different

    • Check via libeufin-nexus tooling on exchange and via psql (merchant.merchant_accounts and merchant.merchant_instances) on merchant backend

  • Does the merchant backend update the KYC status properly?

    • Check if taler-merchant-kyccheck.service is running, check logs

    • Last ditch effort: Check merchant.merchant_kyc table.
